to my campaign for School Board Trustee with the Toronto Catholic
District School Board in Ward 12 (Scarborough). A few years ago I
realized how much my Catholic Education meant to me growing up in Barrie
and I decided at that time to look forward at what I'd like to do in my
life. This was when I chose to run for the Catholic School Board.
I have been involved in politics for most of my life and have learnt what it takes to run an effective campaign but there is more to this campaign than just shaking hands, putting up signs and handing out pamphlets. It is one thing to be a good candidate, it is another thing to be a good trustee and that later is vital to so many children, parents, teachers and administrators. This is why I pledge to ensure that I will represent my Ward not only better than my predecessor but to a level that is asked for by the people I will represent.
